The Navigator’s Guild: Tales of the New World boxed set for Steamforged Games’ fantasy football game Guild Ball will release in September, with an offer for a special retailer exclusive alternate sculpt model, and a set of Navigator’s Guild dice.
The Navigator’s Guild is the third "Minor Guild" to join the Guild Ball game, and they will first appear in August’s Guild Ball Launch Pack event (see "Navigator’s Guild Joins ‘Guild Ball’"). About a month later, the full team will be available in its own boxed set, bringing their unique combination of accurate attacks and dodge moves to the game, as well as new abilities and effects.
To help bring players into the store, Steamforged is offering retailers an exclusive alternate sculpt model of the character Horizon, which will not be sold directly to consumers. MSRP is $10.00.
The Tales of the New World set comes with six new players, their own distinctive globe-shaped ball, and two 3D terrain pieces featuring a captain’s desk and a giant spyglass. All of the cards, tokens, and health dials required to use the team in the game are also included. MSRP is $60.00.
The release will also be supported by the limited edition Navigator’s Guild Dice Pack, which features ten six-sided dice molded in translucent blue plastic with a marbled effect and the Navigator’s Guild symbol on the six face. MSRP is $15.00.
