The greatest minds of the 18th Century are the focus of Newton, releasing on November 30 from CMON.

Created by Nestore Mangone (Expo 1906) and Simone Luciani (The Voyages of Marco Polo) and produced in partnership with Italian publisher Cranio Creations, Newton is set in the academic world of 18th Century Europe.  As students of science and technology, the players try to expand their knowledge through research, travel, and teaching other students, using the cards in their hands as resources for their actions.  The game is designed to allow multiple routes to victory, representing the various paths that students might follow in search of knowledge.

Newton includes 1 map board, 1 track board, 4 player boards, 89 cards, 71 tokens, 134 tiles, 4 scientist pawns, 16 student pawns, 48 travel cubes, and 8 markers.  The game is intended for 1 to 4 players, ages 14 and up, and takes about 90 minutes to play.  MSRP is $59.99.

Newton joins a multitude of releases CMON is planning for the fourth quarter (see “CMON Updates, Expands Release Info for ‘Blue Moon City,’ ‘Narcos,’ ‘The Grizzled Armistice,’ ‘Victorian Masterminds,’ ‘Railroad Ink’”).
