Joker director Todd Phillips shared an image earlier this week of star Joaquin Phoenix as the title character as film production began (see “Todd Phillips' 'Joker' Begins Principal Photography”). Now he shared an Instagram video of what the character will look like with his more-familiar makeup on.

The film is scheduled to open in theaters on October 4,2019.
