Two new Personnel Expansions for Fantasy Flight Games' Star Wars: Legion tabletop miniatures game will release in Q1 next year: the Rebel Specialists and the Imperial Specialists.
Both Personnel Expansions feature new characters that can be attached to other units, rather than representing a complete unit of their own. Each set includes a total of four new characters for their side of the galactic conflict: a veteran officer, a comm specialist, a medical droid, and an astromech droid.
Officers can be attached directly to any unit with the "personnel" upgrade option, or used as a less expensive commander for an army. The other three characters can be attached to a unit to give them access to new special abilities.
Each expansion includes four unpainted miniatures, new unit, upgrade, and command cards, and the tokens needed to use the new characters in the game. The expansions are MSRP $19.95 each.
In Q4 of this year, Fantasy Flight will release expansions featuring Wookies and the Emperor himself (see "Chewbacca Charges into ‘Star Wars: Legion’" and "Emperor Palpatine Descends on ‘Star Wars: Legion’").
