The World’s Greatest Super-Heroes star in a 100-page holiday special from Walmart. The World’s Greatest Super-Heroes! Holiday Special arrives exclusively in Walmart locations on November 11. The collection has an MSRP of $4.99

The 100-page Giant includes “Twas the Riot Before Christmas,” an original Flash story from Scott Lobdell, Brett Booth, and Norm Rapmund that finds Barry Allen trying to tamp down a riot at Iron Heights Penitentiary. It also includes reprints of several classic holiday-themed stories:

• “Good Boy,” by Tom King and David Finch, from Batman Annual (2016)
• “K!llin’ Time,” by Amanda Conner, Jimmy Palmiotti, and Darwyn Cooke, from Harley Quinn Holiday Special #1 (2014)
• “All I Want for Christmas” by Joe Kelly and Ale Garza, from DC Infinite Holiday Special (2006)
• “A Light in the Dark” by Kate Perkins and Paolo Pantalena and “The Epiphany” by Steve Orlando, Vita Ayala, and V. Ken Marion, from DC Rebirth Holiday Special (2016)
• “Metropolis Mailbag” by Dan Jurgens Jackson “Butch” Guice, from Superman #22 (1992)

DC co-publisher Dan Didio teased the release when he discussed the Walmart program with ICv2 during New York Comic Con (see “ICv2 Interview: DC Co-Publishers at NYCC 2018, Part 1”). It is part of DC’s expansion into the nation’s largest retailer (see "Walmart to Carry Exclusive DC Comics in 3,000 Stores”), and previous 100-Page Giants have centered on Superman, Justice League, Batman, Teen Titans, and Swamp Thing (see “Swamp Thing Puts the Scare in Halloween”).
