IDW Games has announced a pair of tabletop adventure board games featuring the iconic Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles: City Fall and Change is Constant, both planned for 2019.

The two new games are built on the game system used for the first Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles Adventures game, 2016’s Shadows of the Past (see “IDW Games Unveils ‘TMNT’ Board Game Details”).  Designer Kevin Wilson (Descent, Arkham Horror), returns to oversee the development of the two new titles.  He will be joined by Pete Walsh and Dan Lansdown, founders of the Shadows of the Past online community.

Both games will stand on their own, each offering new adventures for the Turtles.  The games will feature more than 30 new miniatures and iconic art inspired by IDW’s TMNT universe, and will offer both fully cooperative and four-versus-one “overlord” style play.

The two games will be the beginning of a planned series of Adventures games, according to IDW Publishing’s VP of New Product Development Jerry Bennington. IDW Games will fund the production of the games through a Kickstarter campaign in 2019.

In March, IDW Games will release a more light-hearted game featuring the Turtles (see “IDW Games Hosts ‘Ninja Pizza Party’”).
