Marvel is bringing two digital-first titles to print for the first time this spring.

In Jessica Jones: Purple Daughter, writer Kelly Thompson and artist Mattia De Iulis have Jessica questioning her time with the Purple Man and her marriage to Luke Cage when her daughter Danielle comes home with purple skin.  The 136-page trade paperback features a cover by Martin Simmonds and will be in stores on April 24. MSRP is $19.99.  Thompson and De Iulis previously partnered on Jessica Jones: Blind Spot, another digital first release that saw solid sales when it came to print (see “Top 500 Graphic Novels--October 2018”).  Jessica Jones returns to Netflix in 2019  (see "More ‘Jessica Jones’").

In Cloak and Dagger: Negative Exposure, the super-powered duo are working together as police consultants, but Tandy and Tyrone are on different paths, with the exes each involved in new relationships.  When Mister Negative threatens to unleash a Darkforce god on LA, they must confront their true feelings.  The 136-page trade paperback is written by Dennis Hopeless and illustrated by Francesco Manna and Ruairi Coleman. Jamal Campbell covers the March 27 release, which has an MSRP of $19.99.

Cloak and Dagger inspired a well-received series on Freeform (see “Powers Manifest on 'Marvel's Cloak and Dagger'”).  The second season should debut in spring 2019.
