In May, Days of Wonder will introduce new aircraft rules to its long-running World War II board game Memoir ’44 with the release of the New Flight Plan expansion.

Memoir ’44 – New Flight Plan will allow players to deploy iconic combat aircraft from the war, including the German Stuka and the American B-17.  Players can send their bombers to attack strategic targets, deploy fighters to intercept enemy aircraft, and use fighter-bombers to provide close air support to units on the ground.

The expansion features an all-new set of streamlined air combat rules.  The units and rules in New Flight Plan will be fully compatible with all existing official scenarios.  In addition, 21 new scenarios focusing on air power will be included.

New Flight Plan comes with 16 miniature airplanes, including an extra large B-17 measuring 72mm by 101mm.  It also has 3 airplane stands, 38 cards, 45 markers, and a scenario book.  MSRP is $60.00.
