PlayFusion has awarded exclusive Canadian distribution rights on its products, including Warhammer: Age of Sigmar Champions, to Universal Distribution, the companies announced. PlayFusion was previously distributed by multiple companies in Canada, this move cuts the distributor roster down to one company. The new arrangement begins immediately, according to a PlayFusion spokesperson.
PlayFusion North American VP of Sales & Marketing Jason Brenner noted his familiarity with Universal. "I’ve worked closely with Universal for many years and found them to be a great partner that will further grow our presence in Canada.," he said. "I am looking forward to this exclusive relationship."
PlayFusion has been refining its distribution strategy in recent months; it announced a deal with heo to expand its distribution in Europe, Russia, and South Africa last fall (see "PlayFusion Expands International Distribution with heo").
