Before his acclaimed series Preacher hit the big time, writer Garth Ennis penned numerous arcs of another Vertigo series, Hellblazer, and now DC Comics is collecting all his arcs into a single 1,360-page volume, scheduled for an April 15, 2020, release with an MSRP of $150.00.

Hellblazer by Garth Ennis Omnibus HC collects Ennis’s run on the series from 1991 to 1994, including collaborations with artists Steve Dillon (the artist of Preacher), Will Simpson, and David Lloyd (V for Vendetta).  The omnibus will have a cover by Glenn Fabry and will collect Hellblazer #41-50, #52-83, and #129-133, Hellblazer Special #1 and Heartland #1.

During Ennis’s run, lead character John Constantine finds out he has lung cancer and makes a deal with the devil to stave off death, turns 40, meets the king of the vampires and the ghost of John F. Kennedy, mixes it up with the National Front, and resurrects the son of a gangster.  Ennis also introduced the character Kit Ryan to the series.

DC revealed in July that Constantine will be introduced into the universe of The Sandman this fall with a special one-shot issue and a new ongoing series, both written by Si Spurrier (see "John Constantine in the Sandman Universe").
