Jasco Games will release the My Hero Academia Collectible Card Game as a part of its newly announced UniVersus game.
The My Hero Academia Collectible Card Game will feature characters from the red-hot anime and manga of the same name. Featuring fan favorite characters like All Might, Izuku Midoriya, and Katsuki Bakugo, the My Hero Academia Collectible Card Game can be played independently, combined with other Universal Fight System cards, or with cards from the UniVersus line. The My Hero Academia Collectible Card Game will also have organized play and additional sets to support it as a stand-alone game.
UniVersus is an update to the current Universal Fight System game, featuring new looks to existing card design, new card backs and improved game play. UniVersus and Universal Fight System are completely compatible, though all cards released in 2020 and beyond will feature the new look of the UniVeruse cards.
The release date for the My Hero Academia Collectible Card Game is early 2020 but retailers can request special demo decks now.
Jasco Games announced another anime-based game, the Yu Yu Hakusho expansion, for September (see "‘UFS: Yu Yu Hakusho’ CCG Expansion Update").
