DC Comics has released details on Green Lantern: Blackstars, a new miniseries from Grant Morrison.
Green Lantern: Blackstars will be written by Grant Morrison and features art by Xemanico. The three-issue miniseries will launch in November following the conclusion of events in October’s Green Lantern #13 and will set the stage for the Green Lanterns in 2020. Each issue will feature a triptych cover by Liam Sharp. Green Lantern: Blackstars #1 will feature a variant cover by Darick Robertson.
The Green Lantern Corps is gone. In its place are the Blackstars, a sinister cult of universal peace and harmony. Hal Jordan is one of the Blackstars’ primary operatives and he has set his sights on Ysmault, Mongul, and Earth.
The latest issue of Green Lantern ranked in the top 50 last month (see "Top 500 Comics - July 2019").
