Beno Chapman has joined TCGPlayer as the new General Manager of Seller Services, the company announced. Chapman has extensive experience with business-to-business services and web-based businesses; he spent time at Constant Contact and its parent Endurance International Group, most recently as Vice President and General Manager, and at Yahoo, where he was focused on the company’s video businesses.
In his new role, Chapman will help TCGPlayer evolve its current platform and launch its next wave of services for local game stores. Among the tools he’ll be using in developing those new services is TCGPlayer’s new Pro Labs program, which brings game stores into its development program, giving them early access to upcoming products and an opportunity to give feedback. Over 60 stores have joined the program since its launch in July.
TCGPlayer’s seller services programs are substantial, the company now has over 2,600 stores selling on its TCGPlayer marketplace.
