Dark Horse Comics has announced The Umbrella Academy Volume 1: Apocalypse Suite Deluxe Edition for release on March 17.
The Umbrella Academy Volume 1: Apocalypse Suite Deluxe Edition will collect the first miniseries,
The Umbrella Academy: Apocalypse Suite, by writer Gerard Way and artist Gabriel Bá; along with the short stories "Mon Dieu!" and "But the Past Ain’t Through with You." The collection will also feature a 50-page sketchbook section featuring art by Way, Ba, James Jean, and Tony Ong. The 216-page collection is presented in an oversized hardcover format that is bound in leatherette, debossed with an appliqué of the Umbrella Academy logo, featuring foil stamping, and a satin ribbon book mark.
The book will also include a lithograph featuring a new piece of art by Bá exclusively for the deluxe edition, housed in a leatherette portfolio and debossed with the Umbrella Academy crest. The hardcover and portfolio come in a slipcase featuring art by Bá.
The Umbrella Academy Volume 1: Apocalypse Suit Deluxe Edition will have a MSRP of $79.99.
