In Shadows of Macao, players take on the heads of rival triad gangs. They use resources to build up their gang by getting cards to produce resources, and recruit informants to their gang. As the game progresses, the players gain more resources and buy up establishments in a race to control the city. The game ends when either all the building have been bought or a player has recruited seven members, and the richest triad wins the game.
The game box comes with 52 character cards and 10 Establishment tiles. Shadows of Macao is for two to four players, ages 10 and up, and plays in 30 minutes. It will retail for $24.99.
