Twogether Studios will release The Adventure Zone: Bureau of Balance, a board game based on the hit podcast and best-selling graphic novels by the McElroy family, into trade in August of 2020. The development of this product was first revealed back in October (see "Twogether Studios Is Developing 'The Adventure Zone: Bureau of Balance'").

The Adventure Zone: Bureau of Balance is a game designed by Keith Baker, who is best known for Gloom, and Jenn Ellis of Twogether Studios. The game takes place in a dungeon, and players need to overcome challenges randomly generated from multiple decks of cards. It is a cooperative storytelling game, so either all players succeed in game or collectively fail. Mechanics are quick-to-learn, and the storytelling aspect of the game does not require advanced prep or a gamemaster.

The Adventure Zone: Bureau of Balance is for one to five players, ages 12 and up, and plays in about 60 to 90 minutes. It will retail for $39.95.
