Humanoids will release Metal Hurlant: Selected Works, a collection that includes work by American creators Geoff Johns, Kurt Busiek, Guy Davis, Jerome Opena and others, in March.  The 240-page color trade paperback collects work from an early 00s iteration of the magazine, which included American creators inspired by the original series (see "New Details on Return of ‘Metal Hurlant’"), which began in France in the 1970s.

Artists and writers in the volume, in addition to the big names above, include Richard Corben, Christian Gossett, David Lloyd, Ryan Sook, Francois Bouco, Tommy Lee Edwards, Cully Hamner, and Gerald Parel.

The 1970s edition of the magazine was hugely influential, exposing Moebius, Druillet, and Dionnet, the founding fathers of Les Humano des Associes, to a worldwide audience.
