Titan Comics will release Little Victories: Autism Through a Father’s Eyes, a memoir by Canadian author and artist Yvon Roy, on May 26. The graphic novel follows Roy’s struggles to connect with his son and his grief at the changes in his visions for his son’s future, but ends on a positive, inspirational note.
The volume received the Best Biography Award from the Disability Fund and Society, the INSPRIEO High School Students Award for the most inspiring youth book,a nd the Literary Award for Citizenship form the Maine Teachers’ League.
World Autism Month in April represents an opportunity to take pre-orders for this title.
