Toy Vault has been granted a license by Paizo Inc. to produce plush toys and collectibles based on the monsters, characters, and artwork of the Pathfinder and Starfinder universes, the companies announced. Plushies have been in demand from fans of the properties, according to Paizo VP Marketing and Licensing Jim Butler. "Plush figures have been much-asked-for by the Pathfinder and Starfinder communities, and we’re excited to be working with Toy Vault on bringing these creations to huggable life," he said.
Toy Vault began rebooting its branded plush lines last fall, under the leadership of industry vet Derek Osborne (see “Toy Vault Reboots Branded Plush Lines”). This is the first license announced under the new management.
Top management of Toy Vault’s parent, Webbed Sphere Inc., also changed last year, when the company brought in former GAMA Executive Director John Ward as CEO (see “John and Angela Ward Join Troll and Toad Parent”).
