Renegade Game Studios has detailed the products it is releasing for the Altered Carbon Role Playing Game, due out in September. The game was created and Kickstarted by Hunters Entertainment under a license from Skydance Media (see "’Altered Carbon’ Hits the Tabletop"). The Kickstarter raised $347,547 from 3,940 backers.
The game is based on the Netflix live-action series, which is based on the novels of Richard K. Morgan.
Renegade is planning three SKUs for September release. The Core Rulebook will include 328 full-color pages at $50 MSRP. It will include rules to play Archetypes, the Bay City setting in both its Underground and Atrium world, storytelling-focused rules, and the ability to transfer your character’s consciousness into a new sleeve should they come to a tragic end.
The Deluxe Edition has special cover art and a die-cut slip case at a $90 MSRP.
The GM Screen has the skyline of Bay City on one side and useful game mechanics and systems detailed on the back for gamemaster reference. MSRP is $20.
