The circus is in town, and players are setting up their tents in an attempt to attract audiences to their mystifying performances. In the game, players must recruit performers and expand their camps by placing Tetris-style tiles on player boards. On their turns, they take a die from the supply and carry out one of three actions: build, travel, or perform. The dice function as a strength-of-performance mechanic with better performances costing more coins. After three four-turn rounds, the game ends and the player with the most points wins.
The game box comes with a game board, 4 player boards, 110 playing cards, 19 dice, 48 plastic gems, 3 wagons, 32 wooden trainer markers, 4 wooden scoring markers, 8 wooden hat figures, 84 camp tiles, 12 trainer tiles, 16 circus tent tiles, 40 coin tiles, a plastic storage box, and rules. This game is for one to four players, ages 14 and up, and plays in 60 to 90 minutes. The Magnificent will retail for $60.00.Asmodee USA will also release Helvetiq's Papageno into the North American market (see "'Papageno' Joins Asmodee USA's Lineup").
