Fantasy Flight Games has announced six new ships drawn from each era of films, the TIE/rb Heavy, Heralds of Hope, Eta-2 Actis, Nimbus-Class V-Wing, Droid Tri-Fighter, and Jango Fett’s Slave I coming to Star Wars: X-Wing Second Edition in Q4 2020.
The Galactic Empire receives one of the largest TIE variants with the TIE/rb Heavy expansion. This TIE Fighter was nicknamed the "Brute" due to its robust armor, MGK-300-series droid intelligence, and swiveling laser cannons. The expansion includes a pre-painted miniature with medium plastic base, four ship cards, 12 upgrade cards, and two Quick Build cards. The TIE/rb Heavy expansion will retail for $29.95.
The Resistance’s ace pilots fly into battle with the Heralds of Hope squadron pack. The expansion includes two T-70 X-Wing and a RZ-2 A-Wing, piloted by the likes of Poe Dameron and Temmin "Snap" Wexley based on their appearance in Star Wars: The Rise of Skywalker. The Heralds of Hope expansion includes three pre-painted miniatures, 16 ship cards (10 for the T-70 X-Wing and 6 for the RZ-2 A-Wing), 25 upgrade cards, and five Quick Build cards. Heralds of Hope will retail for $49.95.
The Eta-2 Actis expansion takes players back to the Clone Wars. The Jedi’s choice of travel, the Eta-2 Actis is equipped with a Syliure-class Hyperspace Ring for greater control and mobility. The Eta-2 Actis expansion includes a pre-painted miniature, six ship cards, six upgrade cards, and more. The expansion will retail for $19.95.
The Galactic Republic’s clone pilots take to the stars in the Nimbus-class V-Wing expansion. Multiple configurations allows for the V-Wing to be uniquely fitted for specialized tasks. The expansion will include a pre-painted miniature, six ship cards, seven upgrade cards, and two Quick Build cards. The Nimbus-class V-Wing expansion will retail for $19.95.
The Separatist Alliance comes to the war with the Droid Tri-Fighter. These aggressive star fighters analyze and adapt to enemies mid-flight. Piloted by destructive buzz droids, even veteran Jedi pilots find them to be a threat. The expansion includes a pre-painted miniature, six ship cards, seven upstage cards, and more. The Droid Tri-Fighter expansion will retail for $19.95.
Jango Fett’s Slave I expansion brings the iconic Firespray-class patrol craft to the game, featuring the paint scheme of Jango Fett’s Slave I from Star Wars: The Clone Wars. The ship is appealing to bounty hunters and pirates alike as the ship features a robust chassis and the ability to be outfitted with various weapons. The expansion includes the pre-painted miniature, four ship cards, and 13 upgrade cards. The Jango Fett’s Slave I expansion will retail for $29.95.
