Vault Comics is rebranding its planned middle grade imprint to Wonderbound, and has laid out the pace of releases for the next two years. The new imprint, originally announced as Myriad back in 2018 (see "Vault Comics Launches Young Reader Imprint"), will feature "science fiction, fantasy, and spooky" graphic novels, primarily for middle grade 4readers. Rebecca Taylor was added as Managing Editor of the line late last year (see "Graphic Novel People on the Move").
The line will launch with four titles in 2021, beginning next summer. Two of the three titles originally announced for the line (see "Myriad Shares First Titles") were confirmed for the launch year, with art teams now announced: Wrassle Castle, written by Colleen Coover and Paul Tobin with art by Galaad; and The Unfinished Corner, written by Dani Colman with art by Rachel "Tuna" Petrovicz.
Nine Wonderbound titles are planned for 2022, two continuing series begun in 2021, and seven new titles.
