Movie and videogame illustrator Francois Baranger has illustrated H.P. Lovecraft’s At the Mountains of Madness, which will be released in the U.S. this month by Free League and Design Studio Press.
Baranger, who did concept art for movies Harry Potter, The Clash of the Titans, and Beauty and the Beast; and for videogames Heavy Rain and Beyond: Two Souls, is in the midst of a multi-volume Lovecraft phase. He previously illustrated The Call of Cthulhu, and plans two volumes for At the Mountains of Madness.
At the Mountains of Madness tells the story of a professor from Miskatonic University who leads an ill-fated expedition to Antarctica, where horrific events occur.
The 64-page 10.3" x 13.8" hardcover volume will retail for $29.95.
