In Rocketmen, designed by Martin Wallace (see "Delve Into Victorian London With 'Nanty Narking' ") players will manage their resources in an effort to plan missions to other planets close to Earth. They will need to equip and launch their shuttles and rockets carefully to gain victory points by making it to Earth's celestial neighbors. The game ends when a player scores a certain number of Victory Points before others do, when all of the space missions are complete, or if a player concedes by placing their fifth or sixth token. This game also includes a variant rules set called Battle for Earth where players' main objectives are to explore three destinations, Earth's orbit, the Moon, and Mars.
The game box comes with a game board, 4 player boards, 92 tokens, 165 cards, and a rulebook. This game is for one to four players, ages 14 and up, and plays in 60 minutes. No word has been given on an MSRP for this product as of the publication of this article.
Ares Games also announced Successors 4E, a strategy game by Phalanx Games, for release in 2021 (see "Claim Alexander the Great's Throne in 'Successors 4E'").
