Z2 Comics announced Among the Living, a new graphic novel featuring work by Anthrax, for release in spring.

Anthrax is one of the quintessential thrash metal bands that formed in the 80s. They produced such memorable metal anthems as Caught in the Mosh, Madhouse, and I am the Law.  Their new graphic novel, Among the Living, is based on their 1987 album of the same name. This book is written by an all-star creative team including Scott Ian (bassist of Anthrax), Corey Taylor (lead singer of Slipknot), Rob Zombie, Gerard and Mikey Way (My Chemical Romance), Grant Morrison, Brian Posehn, Jimmy Palmiotti, Brian Azzarello, Rick Remender, Joe Trohman and more.

This book is illustrated by Charlie Benante (drummer of Anthrax), J.G. Jones, Eric Powell, Darick Robertson, Scott Koblish, Erik Rodriguez, Maan House, Roland Boschi, Steve Chanks, Dave Johnson and others. It also features an introduction by Greg Nicotero of The Walking Dead fame. This book comes as a standard softcover and hardcover with cover art by JG Jones, and will be offered off the Z2 website in various forms of limited edition packages. The standard hardcover will go for $39.99 and the softcover retails for $24.99.

Z2 Comics has also teamed up with the band All-Time Low to release All Time Low Presents: Young Renegades, a new GN, which is scheduled for summer (see "Z2 Comics and All-Time Low Collaborate on 'Young Renegades' Graphic Novel").
