Atomic Mass Games announced that they will delay the Star Wars Miniatures World Championships until 2022 due to concerns over the COVID-19 pandemic.

Atomic Mass Games recently got its hands on the Star Wars lines of miniatures games (see "'Star Wars' Miniatures Games Development Moves From Fantasy Flight Games to Atomic Mass Games!"), and they've addressed the state of Organized Play for 2021. Essentially, they expressed a desire to be extremely cautious as vaccines roll out across the world through this year, and have delayed all Star Wars Miniatures World Championships until 2022. All players with invites to the 2020 World Championships will be honored for entry into the corresponding 2022 World Championships.

As far as other events for 2021, they will be monitoring the global situation to see whether or not Organized Play will be possible. Atomic Mass is looking to hold larger events near the end of 2021 into 2022 if vaccine distribution is widespread enough to do so. They also mentioned that chances are "good" that events will not resume until spring 2022.
