Asmodee USA will take over distribution of Plan B Games' catalog of games in June 2021.
After acquiring Plan B Games (see "Asmodee Acquires Plan B Games"), Asmodee will also become their exclusive distributor of their games. Their catalog includes Spiele des Jahres winners Azul and Camel Up, Century: Spice Road, and Great Western Trail. Andre Kieren, Head of USA Distribution, commented on the move to go exclusive:
"We’re delighted to offer Plan B Games’ masterfully designed titles to our retailers and their communities," said Kieren. "We envision Azul among our other pillar games, like Ticket to Ride and Catan, because of its ease of play and appeal to casual and experienced players alike."
Plan B Games is currently exclusively distributed to the hobby channel through GTS Distribution (see "Passport Games Goes Exclusive"), and PSi Playhouse handles their distribution to chains and online. This move of Asmodee exclusivity will likely have an impact on both of Plan B's soon-to-be former distributors.
