The GRD board added two new At-Large Directors and a few incumbent members were elected to different positions. On March 18, the members elected Rhonda Becker from The Gamers Den in Cambridge, MN; Jay Mason-Grant from Black Knight Games in Ontario, Canada; and re-elected Kylie Prymus from Games Unlimited in Pittsburgh, PA. Prymus had filled John Stephens' position in 2020 after Stephens joined Iello USA (see "Kylie Prymus Joins GAMA Retail Division Board").

Then, on March 22, the GRD elected Jennifer Ward from Crazy Squirrel Game Store in Fresno, CA as their new Chairperson. Jennifer Ward had previously held the board position of Secretary. Also, Kylie Prymus was elected Vice Chairperson and Dave Salisbury from Fan Boy Three in Manchester, UK became their Secretary. Dave Salisbury was an At-Large Director incumbent (see "GAMA Announces Candidates for the 2020 GRD Election").
