In My Father's Work, players are take on the roles of mad scientists trying to finish various experiments and pass on their knowledge to the next generation. They earn points by completing experiments, helping the Town, upgrading their estates, and completing their Father's Work outlined in a journal page left to them. This game is app-driven, and has a narrative component that features three scenarios: The Cost of Disease, Fear of the Unknown, and A Time of War.
It is for two to four players, ages 14 and up, and plays in 180 minutes. The retailer pledge level comes with 4 copies of the game, plus all unlocked Stretch Goals, for $198. As of the publication of this article, the KS has raised $218,061 of a $10,000 goal with 2293 backers ($95 a backer).
Renegade Game Studios will also release reprinted editions of Vampire: The Masquerade 5th Edition Roleplaying Game core rulebook and sourcebooks into retail in July (see "Renegade Game Studios' Printings of 'Vampire: The Masquerade 5E' Books are Headed to Retail").
