The electronic Pokemon Trainer Guess game releasing in August from Ultra PRO Entertainment will come in three varieties:  Legacy Edition, Ash’s Adventures, and Kanto Edition.

The Pokemon Trainer Guess uses voice recognition technology to deduce the identity of over a hundred different Pokemon characters by asking questions for the player to answer.  Once a new Pokemon has been discovered, the player can add it to their own virtual collection.

There will be three versions of this electronic game:

  • Pokemon Trainer Guess Legacy Edition features 148 Pokemon drawn from the past 25 years.
  • Pokemon Trainer Guess Ash’s Adventures offers 150 Pokemon that Ash and his friends have encountered.
  • Pokemon Trainer Guess Kanto Edition has 151 Pokemon from the Kanto region.

All three games are sold separately with an MSRP of $25.00, and come with the Poke Ball game device, a “Trainer Field Guide” booklet, and 3 AAA batteries.  Intended for 1 or more players, ages 6 and up, the game takes about 15 minutes to play.  They will be available only in the U.S.

August will also see the release of Ultra PRO’s interactive Pokemon Trivia Trainer (see “‘Pokemon Trivia Trainer’ Features 1000 Questions”).
