Cat Kid Comic Club was one of the top kids’ franchises of fall 2021 (see “Top Kids Graphic Novel Franchises – Fall 2021”), third in line after the Dog Man and Baby-Sitters Club books, and notably, the only title to make that list with only a single volume. It also made the BookScan chart of the top graphic novels of 2020 (see “Full Year 2020 NPD BookScan – Top 20 Kids Graphic Novels”) and has been nominated for an Eisner Award (see “The 2021 Eisner Award Nominees”).

Best-selling kids’ graphic novel creator Dav Pilkey has a new book in the works: Cat Kid Comic Club Perspectives, a followup to last year's Cat Kid Comic Club. Cat Kid Comic Club Perspectives will be published on November 30, 2021, as a hardcover with an MSRP of $12.99.
