The Twilight Kin will be the first faction of new fleets for 2022. Their ships are geared towards boarding and close range attacks, and they gain the upper hand through combat tricks. Mantic unveiled three of their ships: The Assassin, The Butcher, and The Impaler. The Assassin is the workhorse of the group, and is Medium ship with a decent forward armament and Blade Dancers in its crew. The Butcher is a less agile ship that use Ensnare to grapple with enemies, and The Impaler is a support ship.
No word on MSRP for product, as of the publication of this article.
Mantic also announced flying units for Kings of War: Armada (see "Mantic Takes to the Air in New 'Armada' Sets").
