Rival time travelers plot each other’s demise in the abstract-style strategy game That Time You Killed Me, recently announced by Pandasaurus Games.

That Time You Killed Me is played simultaneously across three game boards representing the past, present, and future.  On their turn, a player can act on any of the boards, and actions “in the past” can modify the boards representing later time periods.  Their goal is to eliminate all of the multiple copies of their rival, thus proving that they are the one true time traveler.

The game is designed to be played over a series of four games called “chapters.” As each chapter is unlocked, new game elements are introduced to the game, increasing the difficulty and allowing new strategies.  Each chapter is contained in it’s own box to prevent spoilers until players are ready to unlock that chapter.

That Time You Killed Me was created by Peter C. Hayward (Dracula’s Feast, Village Pillage) and features artwork by Jor Ros.  The game includes 3 game boards, 14 player pawns, 2 focus tokens, and 4 chapter boxes with hidden content.  The game is intended for 2 players, ages 10 and up, and each chapter plays in a little under half an hour.  MSRP is $39.95.  Release date has not yet been announced.
