Starting with Dubious, Hobby World intends to sign their games with their European and Asian partners, add a certain quantity to the manufacturing schedule for the English editions, and have everything produced together. Hobby World will then be selling and promoting their English edition games to the U.S., UK, and other English-speaking countries directly rather than using other companies to get their games into U.S. markets. Their games had been previously entering the U.S. market through companies like Arcane Wonders and Ultra Pro (see "'Furnace'" and also, "'Cutterland'").
The first game offered direct will be Dubious, a social-deduction game. In this game, players are given an Occupation and a Secret, and then they answer a series of questions. Other players tally points for guessing the Occupation and Secret for the answering player, and the player with the most victory points at the end of the last round wins. This game is for three to six players, and there has been no word on MSRP as of yet.
