Ares Games unveiled Nanty Narking Standard Edition, a streamlined version of the original board game, which will release into U.S. retail in November.

The Deluxe Edition of Martin Wallace's mystery game is still available in the U.S. (see "'Nanty Narking'"), but for players who want a more affordable version, the Standard Edition is on the way. This edition replaces the plastic pieces with cardboard standees with bases. The new game box will come with rulebook, a cardboard board, 79 standees, 55 round standee bases, 24 square standee bases, 161 cards, 4 player aid charts, 62 cardboard counters, and a 12-Sided die.

This game is for two to four players, ages 14 and up, and plays in 60 minutes. It will retail for $45.
