Mantic Games announced that it is ending its The Walking Dead Miniatures Game on March 31, 2022.
In January 2016, Mantic acquired the rights to make miniatures for TWD from Skybound Entertainment (see "'The Walking Dead' Goes Mini"). The Walking Dead: All Out War was then launched on Kickstarter in February 2016 (see "'Walking Dead: All Out War' Minis Game"), and raised $685,853 from 3,737 backers ($183.53 per backer). The game later made it to retail in December 2016 (see "Retail Launch Event for 'Walking Dead' Game"), and spawned several expansions.
Mantic and Skybound agreed to let fans of the game have a final three month window to order the remainder of Mantic's The Walking Dead miniatures stock off their website. After March 31, all TWD miniatures products will be removed from the Mantic website, and there will be no more new releases for this game line.
