Bushiroad is celebrating ten years of Cardfight!! Vanguard with the launch of the Triumphant Return of the Brave Heroes booster set, which will feature popular units from the Awakening of Twin Blades set and a new rarity class:  10th RRR. The new set will release on June 10 following a June 3 Sneak Preview.

Triumphant Return of the Brave Heroes offers cards for five of the game’s Nations:  Dragon Empire, Dark States, Brandt Gate, Keter Sanctuary, and Stoicheia.  Among the cards are new characters drawn from the Cray Chronicles novel in addition to units from Awakening of Twin Blades including “Majesty Lord Blaster,” “Dragonic Overlord the End,” and “Phantom Blaster Overlord,” forming a new 10th RRR rarity class. Each box will include two cards from this class that are not considered parallel cards.

The complete set has a total of 90 new cards plus 1 reissue card with the following rarities:  6 10th RRR, 12 RRR, 19 RR, 18 R, 35 C, and 1 WO and 103 parallel:  3 10th SP, 45 SP, and 55 H parallels. The reissue card will be “Blaster Dark.”

The cards will be available in seven-card packs, packaged in 16-pack displays, with 20 displays per carton.

Bushiroad will support the launch with a Sneak Preview Kit for retailers who want to host an event on June 3. The kit comes with 47 booster packs, 9 promo cards, 9 PR Over Trigger, and 2 premium playmats. Each kit supports up to eight players, and the materials in the kit cannot be sold individually.

Cardfight!! Vanguard continues to be a solid seller for Bushiroad, ranking seventh on ICv2’s list of top-selling collectible games in the hobby market last summer (PRO members see “PRO: Collectible Games Market Report and Top Brands Chart – Summer 2021”).
