Dark Horse Comics has announced that it will publish Vol. 41 of Kentaro Miura’s Berserk,  the final volume of the long-running series, on November 22. The 176-page paperback will have an MSRP of $14.99 and will include a two-sided color poster insert.

The series, which launched in Japan in 1989, was left incomplete when Miura died in 2021 at the age of 54 (see “R.I.P. Kentaro Miura”). Berserk was Dark Horse’s top-selling property in 2019, 2020, and the first half of 2021 (see “Dark Horse’s Top Property for the Past Three Years Was a Manga”). Dark Horse publishes Berserk both as single volumes in paperback and as deluxe hardcover omnibi that each bind up three volumes.

“It is with great pride that Dark Horse will release Miura-sensei’s last installment of his masterpiece, Berserk,” said Dark Horse President and founder Mike Richardson in a statement accompanying the announcement. “His creativity and incredible storytelling are unmatched. And to be able to release his final work to his fans is an honor that cannot be understated.”
