This new set showcases characters from the anime Digimon Ghost Game and Digimon Adventure Tri. The set provides essential cards for the metagame, and introduces the DigiXros keyword. Each box comes with two box toppers inserted into an Update Pack, which features a total of 12 different cards.

There is also a special Aphamon card that is incredibly rare and has a very low pull rate. The rarity breakdown is as follows: 44 commons, 30 uncommons, 26 rares, 10 super rares, and 2 secret rares. It also includes alternative art and parallel design types of cards.

Bandai also recently revealed Digimon CG: X Record Booster [BT09] (see "'Digimon CG' Booster Set").
