DC will collect Mark Waid’s run on The Flash into hardcover omnibus volumes, starting with The Flash by Mark Waid Omnibus Vol. 1, featuring art by Mike Wieringo, Greg LaRocque, and others, with a cover by Wieringo. The 1,088-page tome starts with the freak accident that transformed Wally West into The Flash and follows him as he masters his powers and takes on an array of criminals, terrorists, and supervillains. The omnibus collects The Flash #62-91; The Flash Annual #4-6; Green Lantern #30-31, #40; The Flash Special #1; and Justice League Quarterly #10 and is slated for release on November 1 with an MSRP of $150.00.

Waid has been nominated for inclusion in the Eisner Awards Hall of Fame (see “2022 Eisner Hall of Fame Inductees, Nominees Announced”).
