In expansions, investigators take on ten scenarios that have them traveling around the globe. They are recruited by a government agency that is looking for eldritch implements called "Keys." Players need to find these Keys before other agencies and groups, like members of the Red Coterie, get hold of them and unleash terrors from the shadows.

The Scarlet Keys Campaign Expansion box contains the entire campaign, but it still requires a copy of the Arkham Horror: The Card Game Revised Core Set to play (see "Revised Core Set"). It will retail for $69.99. The Scarlet Keys Investigator Expansion box comes with six new investigators related to this campaign, along with new cards for deckbuilding options. This expansion will retail for $44.99.
