Tokaido, now under the FunForge umbrella, will once again experience an upgrade as this game turns a decade old (see "'Tokaido' Rejuvenated"). The deluxe edition of this game comes with a bigger box to hold a giant-sized game board as well as all the cards for Tokaido and Crossroads. This version also includes16 character tiles, 16 unpainted figurines, 5 point markers, 5 color bases, metal coins, fabric bag, a Crossroads wooden die, and Tokaido and Crossroads rulebooks. Additionally, to add ambience to games, Tokaido Deluxe Edition comes with a soundtrack CD.
