Rio Grande Games will release Crossing Oceans, a new economic board game, into retail.

In this game, players become owners of modern ocean liner companies at the end of the 19th Century. They will try to acquire the most modern steamships available and monopolize ports to best their rivals. The goal of the game is to build an extensive network of trading posts and coal piers and conduct money-making transports all in an attempt to win the Blue Riband of the North Atlantic.

This game is for two to four players, ages 14 and up, and plays in 45 to 90 minutes. It will retail for  $69.95.

Rio Grande Games has also announced Texas & Pacific , a railroad-building game by John Bohrer (see "'Texas & Pacific'").
