AWA Studios will add Lunar Distribution to its distribution roster, the company announced, with the new deal to take effect with titles shipping in January 2023. Diamond Comic Distributors will continue to distribute AWA titles, and Simon & Schuster will continue to distribute AWA’s book-format products to the book trade.
"As the comics industry continues to boom, we are readying to release an incredible slate of titles in 2023 and are eager to broaden our distribution options to provide more flexibility for our retail partners and readers," AWA Studios Executive Editor and head of Publishing Operations Michael Cotton said in a statement accompanying the announcement.
Lunar added Mad Cave Studios and Black Mask last month (see "Lunar Adds Two New Publishers").
