More key hires are coming soon, Oni Press President & Publisher Hunter Gorinson said in a statement accompanying the announcement.
Hahn started her career in the publicity department of the DC Comics' imprint Vertigo in 2005, then moved to Dark Horse Comics two years later as an editor. There she was responsible for Gerard Way, Shaun Simon, and Becky Cloonan’s True Lives of the Fabulous Killjoys, Jeff Jensen and Jonathan Case’s Eisner Award-winning Green River Killer, and licensed comics including Buffy the Vampire Slayer and The Strain. In 2015, Hahn went to BOOM! Studios as Executive Editor of the Archaia imprint (see “ICv2 Interviews Archaia’s Sierra Hahn”) where her titles included Once Upon a Time at the End of the World by Jason Aaron, Alexandre Tefenkgi, Leila del Duca and Nick Dragotta; A Vicious Circle by Mattson Tomlin and Lee Bermejo; and Ryan North and Albert Monteys’ adaptation of Kurt Vonnegut’s Slaughterhouse Five, which was nominated for an Eisner.

She – alongside several other key hires soon to be announced – will be a foundational part of the leadership team that is strengthening Oni-Lion Forge for the future."
Gorinson was named to his post in late 2022, after a period of turmoil at the publisher (see “Hunter Gorinson to Take the Reins at Oni-Lion Forge”).
