Steamforged Games announced a Sea of Thieves board game, which will be based off of the hit video game for PC and Xbox.

Sea of Thieves is a pirate action-adventure game created by Rare and published by Microsoft Studios in 2018. In the video game, players take on the role of a pirate working for various trading companies as they explore this open world game.  The video game also allowed players to customize their ships to engage in high seas naval combat.  Few details have been released about the board game, thus far.

Steamforged Games also acquired the Kinghill IP and board game from its creator Petr Marek and Czech-studio Purple Dragon (see "'Kinghill' IP and Board Game").
