Funko Games announced Disney Animated, a new cooperative board game by Prospero Hall, which will arrive in mid-2023.
In this game, players work together as a production team at Walt Disney Animation. They will need to produce five classic Disney films using detailed background art, vibrant paint colors, and lively sound. However, this task is easier said than done as infamous Villains will rush the players' deadlines and create calamity as the feature films progress. This game explores the history of Disney Animation Studios, and offers quality components such as full-color player boards, custom wooden tokens, and transparent cel cards.
The game box comes with a Studio board, 5 Background boards, 5 Action boards, 5 Villain tiles, 45 Background tiles, 5 Action tiles, 21 Wood tokens, 15 Character Cel cards, 25 Calamity cards, 40 Animation Cards, 29 game tokens, 6 tuck boxes, 4 reference cards, 3 Reminder cards, and instructions. This game is for two to four players, ages 10 and up, and plays in 20 minutes. It will retail for $34.99.
Funko, Inc. recently reported quarterly earnings (see "Funko Swings to Loss").
