In June, Fantasy Flight Games will release the cooperative board game Marvel D.A.G.G.E.R.
D.A.G.G.E.R., or the “Defense Alliance for Global and Galactic Emergency Response,” is a group of superheroes sworn to defend the world from dangerous threats. In this fully cooperative game, the players take on the mantle of these heroes and work together to thwart the plans of iconic villains from the Marvel universe.
A total of 20 heroes are available to choose from, each with unique abilities that can be used in strategic combos with other heroes. The players begin by assembling a team, then head out to confront missions around the world. Players can customize their heroes by assigning them a “heroic aspect” that modifies the actions they can use during the game. If the heroes can successfully work together, they can unleash powerful team-up abilities.
Facing off against the heroes are a variety of super-powered villains and their minions, who also have their own powers and abilities. While the heroes try to solve crises around the world, the villain works to advance their agenda, building up to the final showdown with the heroes.

Marvel D.A.G.G.E.R. supports one to five players and is intended for ages 12 and up. Games take up to three hours to play. It was designed by Dane Beltrami (Twilight Imperium: Fourth Edition, Eldritch Horror: Masks of Nyarlathotep). MSRP is $89.99.
Fantasy Flight recently announced a new campaign expansion for Descent: Legends in the Dark (see “Fantasy Flight Opens ‘Descent Act 2’”).
