Marvel announced a new series, Web of Carnage, and revealed more details of its other Summer of Symbiotes titles at its C2E2 panel. Web of Carnage, by writer Ram V and artist Francesco Manna, will debut on July 12, 2023, and will follow the events of the  Carnage Reigns crossover that will run in May and June (see “Marvel Announces More Details of ‘Summer of Symbiotes’”). The first issue will have a cover by Kenrick “Kunkka” Lim.

Meanwhile, the creator of Venom, David Michelinie, will have a hand in the final series of the event, Death of the Venomverse. Horror master Cullen Bunn will write the five-part limited series, which will include a separate story by Michelinie along the lines of his Venom: Lethal Protector. Gerardo Sandoval will be the artist for the series, and Bjorn Barends will be the cover artist for the first issue. All five issues will be released in August 2023, with the first issue going on sale on August 2.

Marvel also released covers and character designs for the comics that are part of the event, including Venom #22 and 23, Cult of Carnage: Misery #2, 3, and 4, Red Goblin #6, and the Edge of Venomverse digital comic.
